  • Students in the A2SRL have access to a wide range of high-performance computing resources. The A2SRL maintains its own collection of RAID servers which can be used for storage of large data sets as well as for processing computationally-intensive jobs.
  • In addition, students have access to the Advanced Research Computing Flux system which is a 64-bit cluster connecting approximately 19,000 CPUs and over 100,000 GPU CUDA cores through a 40 Gbps InfiniBand network with memory ranging from 48 GB to 1 TB per node.
  • Lab computers are mixture of 4 to 64 core machines running Windows, Linux, and Macintosh operating systems with several speciality machines containing more than 43,000 CUDA cores.
  • In-house developed software and specialized commercial software are used in support of the research conducted in A2SRL.
